2014 Strong Kids Campaign
THE GOAL IS$105,000TO SUPPORT OUR KIDS
Our community is as strong as we make it.
And the most effective way to makeour community stronger is to startby strengthening our children.
Since 1894, the Kankakee AreaYMCA has worked tirelessly to ensurethat our kids are healthy andsafe. We want their lives to alwaysenjoy a sense of promise. We encourageactions that contribute notonly to reaching their own potential, but also to expanding the potentialof the neighborhoods in which theylive.
Kankakee’s greatest natural resourceis people, especially youngpeople. Our kids need the YMCA andthe support of the Strong Kids Campaign.
And please remember that theStrong Kids Campaign needs yoursupport too.

MEET OUR PERSONAL TRAINERS
Y Total Health Coach/Personal Training Team
YMCA Personal Trainers are exercise professionals with the knowledge and experience to offer advice and guidance in the areas of exercise and wellness. Our trainers will design a safe and effective exercise program to help you reach your personal goals-whether it be weight loss, exercise performance or overall improved wellness. Your trainer will provide education about strength training, cardio endurance and basic nutrition while keeping you motivated and accountable to reach your goals.
KAY BEYER Kay is new to the world of Personal Training, but not new to personal fitness. After raising four kids and working full-time in the corporate world for 20 plus years, she has stayed healthy through it all! She understands that juggling priorities and making the choice to be fit is not easy, and has adopted a philosophy of BALANCE. “Adding exercise to your routine, no matter how little or much, will improve other areas of your life. It’s not what you see in the mirror, but what you FEEL inside that makes daily exercise worth it. Our society emphasizes physical beauty, but a healthy body glows no matter what shape you are.” Kay specializes in Yoga, Pilates and Core strength training. Whether it’s your first step, or your 501st, Kay is excited to share it with you! Together, you might just find the joy in fitness.
