MEET OUR PERSONAL TRAINERS

Y Total Health Coach/Personal Training Team 

YMCA Personal Trainers are exercise professionals with the knowledge and experience to offer advice and guidance in the areas of exercise and wellness. Our trainers will design a safe and effective exercise program to help you reach your personal goals-whether it be weight loss, exercise performance or overall improved wellness. Tina Begley

TINA BEGLEY
Tina is currently teaching Group Exercise classes here at the YMCA and is now expanding her horizons by joining our Personal Training staff. She enjoys variety in her workout plans and has a strong interest in educating others about the lifelong benefits of exercise and proper nutrition. She is passionate about providing her clients with a safe & effective workout that will help them achieve their optimum level of health, fitness, and strength.

 

EmilyDIANA CAISE
Diana is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois and a Masters in Teaching Science/Biology from Olivet Nazarene University. She is currently working on an Exercise Science Degree. She is a Certified Pilates and Group Fitness Instructor through AFAA. She enjoys coaching soccer and cross-country and has also coached swimming and basketball. She is a runner and triathlete, and enjoys the outdoors; swimming, cross-country skiing, running, biking, kayaking, paddle-boarding, and hiking. She focuses on healthy eating and lifestyle, functional strength, sports conditioning and injury prevention.

 

EmilyJANALIS CRONK
Janalis graduated with a Bachelors in Exercise Science from Olivet Nazarene University. She has always had a passion for fitness and recreational sports. She began running cross country and track in middle school and later became a collegiate runner. She is excited to work with members who show interest in making exercise apart of their daily routine. Janalis believes in encouraging, motivating, and sharing knowledge about fitness with her clients.

 

EmilyMICHAEL ESPINO
Michael is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sport Medicine. He has been working as a personal trainer for the past 3 years. His passion for fitness grew from his involvement in sports from an early age - baseball, basketball, football, track, and soccer. He excels at motivating people of all levels to reach their fitness goals. He focuses on functional and body weight training. When not working out, Michael loves to spend time helping out coaching his brother’s soccer and basketball teams.

 

AustinAUSIN HOLTON
We welcome Austin Holton to our Personal Training staff. He recently earned his Bachelor's Degree in Sport Fitness and Recreation from Olivet Nazarene University (ONU). During his time at ONU, he was a four-year letter winner in both Football and Track &Field. Outside of the YMCA, Austin is the Assistant Football Coach at Olivet and is also pursuing his Masters in Leadership. Although, he specializes in training athletes, Austin enjoys training all ages and levels.

 

EmilyEMILY VELLUNTINI
Emily has grown up playing sports competitively and recreationally. She has a degree in Athletic Training from Olivet Nazarene University. Emily has worked with many different sports teams and age groups. She is a Certified Personal/Athletic Trainer and is studying to become a Physical Therapist. Emily's workout includes a variety of strength training and cardio endurance. Emily is current with the latest fitness trends and workout techniques. Emily’s philosophy…”The key to a well-rounded happy life is health. Improving health through fitness is a key role in maintaining and creating a long happy and healthy life. Fitness should be fun and engaging. Fitness should constantly be changing and creating new challenges to overcome.

 

GeraldJERALD WALKER
For the past 16 years, Jerald has worked at the Y as a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. Jerald first started as a Y member at the age of 40. Within one year, he learned to swim and became a lifeguard. One day he was approached by the Y Fitness Director to join the Y team as a Personal Trainer. He has never regretted the decision to join the Y team. He especially enjoys all of the friends he has made as a Personal Trainer. He aspires to make a difference in people’s lives by sharing his expertise and love for fitness.

  

RitaRITA ZENZ
Rita was a fitness coach in the private industry for 3 years and has chosen to bring her expertise, empowerment, and drive to assist those in her community. She learned after the birth of her son that she needed to make some changes to her lifestyle. She wanted her kids to live a healthy lifestyle so she had to change her own. Overtime, she learned to love fitness and lost 100lbs. She is passionate about helping others achieve their goals and will share her story in hopes to inspire others. Rita loves to incorporate nutrition advice and will be adding Fitness Nutrition to her curriculum. She has many delicious, but healthy recipes to share. She incorporates the latest and most interactive trends in exercise and will tailor your program to your needs.
